Plotty Time

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch finally get back to talking about a narrative game from EA Sports! Can you believe it's been this long? This time we at least discuss a game where the career mode was the star feature that the rest of the game was built around instead of a poorly made tacked on game mode that was pasted together at the last minute. Feast your guys on a real attempt at a Sports story from EA spots with the boxing and family drama sim Fight Night Champion! 

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch dive deep into an Xbox 360 hidden gem that involves Sorcery, demons, holy weapons, and a bunch of other wild shit as you fight your way through a fictional feudal land fighting dragons in order to take down the main bad guy who can remotely tune into your head. Out of guesses? it has to be Dark Messiah of Might and Magic!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch come to the table to talk about a game where you one man army a bunch of soldiers from the fictional country of Costa Nostra while also thwarting a coup of the United States Government that has taken over a majority of the government. This modern day classic is called Secret Service: Ultimate Sacrifice! Come in here and listen!

This week we're doing a fantasy draft for Beat em Ups'! We talk about a lot of hack and slashers, brawlers, and shat the such from years ago! This time it's less FPS and more third person cover based shooter with heavy 9/11 justification and a rare case where the PMC Mercenaries are actually the good guys. Who knew? This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch take a break from their usual programming to pay tribute to a very special man who played a key role in their childhood as a strange and eccentric man-child with a house full of friends and puppets. Once he married a fruit salad. We miss Paul Reubens already and we wanted to talk about him this week. RIP Paul.

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch wrap up another trilogy that they started talking about way back in 2019! Which by our count was about a decade ago since the Pandemic destroyed our sense of time and ruined everything. Hop back into this spooky rootin' tootin' and shootin' series with the final installment of the paranormal FPS series in F.E.A.R 3!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch tackle the impossible task of showcasing a hidden gem from the PS2 era with a loaded voice cast, tons of robot on robot violence, and a way better satirization of war films and video games than that stupid NAM game we did last week. Enjoy the great pacing and stellar voice cast in Metal Arms: Glitch in the System!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch travel back in time to the groovy 60's!  We will not to talk about peace love and understanding, but to discuss a middle of the road third person shooter set during the war in Vietnam that was clearly more influenced by Vietnam war films rather than the horrors of what actually happened.
