Plotty Time

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch take a break from their usual programming to pay tribute to a very special man who played a key role in their childhood as a strange and eccentric man-child with a house full of friends and puppets. Once he married a fruit salad. We miss Paul Reubens already and we wanted to talk about him this week. RIP Paul.

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch wrap up another trilogy that they started talking about way back in 2019! Which by our count was about a decade ago since the Pandemic destroyed our sense of time and ruined everything. Hop back into this spooky rootin' tootin' and shootin' series with the final installment of the paranormal FPS series in F.E.A.R 3!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch tackle the impossible task of showcasing a hidden gem from the PS2 era with a loaded voice cast, tons of robot on robot violence, and a way better satirization of war films and video games than that stupid NAM game we did last week. Enjoy the great pacing and stellar voice cast in Metal Arms: Glitch in the System!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch travel back in time to the groovy 60's!  We will not to talk about peace love and understanding, but to discuss a middle of the road third person shooter set during the war in Vietnam that was clearly more influenced by Vietnam war films rather than the horrors of what actually happened. Have fun! and enjoy us talking about Shellshock Nam '67!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch take a deep dive way back when to the past of PC gaming in the early 90s where the graphics weren't good enough for grand envisions of massive video game wars, the processing power was better than any home console and no one knew what to do so they made FMV games. It was a weird time where they tried to make games into a movie... whatever... It's The 11th Hour!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch talk about a game that used a enigmatic art style to tell a deep soap-operatic spy story involving corrupt armies, backstabbing politicians, and international espionage of the highest order! And they got David Duchovny and Adam West in to do voices! how was this game so bad? Find out along aside us as we discuss the game XIII. 

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch get together to talk about a PS3 game that mostly got lost in the shuffle as a Gears of War Clone back in the everything is brown shooters of 2012 when you couldn't walk 5 feet without running into another shooter trying to be the next Call of Duty. This week we talk about the frantic world shifting cover base shooter Inversion!

This week Chump Slap and Poppascotch need to fill some airtime due to scheduling conflicts, so they decided that watching the 2005 film Doom would be a fun exercise and I think the guys are left with more questions than answers. What did they think about a Doom film where the signature gun never hits a person and now there's an alien chromosome that adds super powers to people who inject it? I guess that's in Doom now? Anyways, they talk about The Rock vehicle Doom!

This week Dr. Syintist, Chump Slap, and Poppascotch close out an original First Party Playstation franchise from the PS3 era by talking about the alien war machine during a terrifying alternate timeline where the Chimera have invaded Earth, started taking over, and we're now on the brink of humanity's extinction in the always uplifting Resistance 3!
